The Polygon overview page allows the user to create, upload, share and save polygons. These polygons can be used to search connections and attach import data rules to newly added connections.
If users have limited access rights they can only save the polygon file.
New & Edit Polygon
New polygons can be added by clicking New Polygon. Users have the option to draw polygons or upload KML files containing polygons. After uploading a KML file, the polygon can still be edited within the portal, as long as the KML file is not larger than 1 MB. Use the Validate option to make sure there are no illegal nodes. All polygons must be named before saving.

Share Polygon
The Polygons can be shared with other AC users by clicking the Share Polygon button and entering the email address of the recipient and confirming by clicking “Share Polygon”. Multiple email addresses can be entered at the same time. The recipients can re-share the polygon with other users only if the original Polygon-owner gave permission for re-sharing.
File Format (conversion)
Gridsz uses the Keyhole Markup Language (KML), which requires other polygon formats to be converted to KML. For example GeoPackage (GPKG) data can be converted using this MyGeoData tool.
