The access rights for the Availability modules distinguishes three user groups: Data users, data owners and data provider. Depending on the user group, the account will have access to different areas and different features in AC. Users can have one account with different roles and rights per dataset.
The following is a simplified overview about each group’s abilities:
Role | View data | Export data | Import data | Override | Bulk edit | Write Patch | Data rules | Polygons |
Data Owner | ||||||||
Data Provider | ||||||||
Data user |
Gridsz can pose restrictions on which connections can be seen by specific users.
Data visibility is configurable per Data User Group, allowing you to control which data you can access. This configuration can be applied at several levels of detail:
- Dataset Level: Control access to entire datasets
- Field Level: Specify which fields within a dataset you can access
- Connection Filtering: Exclude certain connections or information from your access
This multi-layered approach ensures that you have access to the data you need while maintaining appropriate security and privacy standards.
