Attachments

Gridsz offers the ability to include attachment to a task. Attachments can be added when a new task is created as additional instruction or added by the contractor when working on a task.

Attachments are stored in the cloud and are available via the portal for 52 weeks and 104 weeks via API. After 104 weeks attachments will be automatically cleaned from the cloud and not available anymore.

Upload new file

Attaching a file to an existing Task is possible in two ways:

  1. Navigate to History and click on the attachment icon
  2. Navigate to the bottom of the History and upload a file by uploading it in the following area

Attachment limits

  • Maximum single file size: 5 MB
  • Maximum total size of attachments: 50 MB
  • Maximum number of uploaded files: 20 files
  • Allowed file types: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TXT, PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX

When an attachment does not match these rules the notification “Extension not allowed” will show.
